To Heart merchandise

Today is Serio's birthday, one of the very few fictional characters that I remember their birthday, so I will take the chance to do a review of all the To Heart merchandise that I own.

First, the original PC game and the PSE Edition that already reviewed here.

The Japanese dvd's of the first To Heart series. Seems that the American edition by Rightstuff was remastered and restored, so once I have enough money I'll buy that edition too.

One of the two cels that I have is this chibi Serio from the extra mini-episode #5. More details in my newly opened Cel Gallery.

Cd's. Piece of Heart drama cd (already reviewed) and To Heart anime OST.

Serio plush, released in 2003 by Sol International, was the first plush that I purchased.

Serio plush in the maintenance swimsuit, again by Sol International.

My favorite characters after Serio are the Kurusugawa sisters, so I also bought a Kurusugawa Ayaka plush...

... and a Kurusugawa Serika.

The To Heart figures that I own: 1/8 Cold Cast Kurusugawa Serika Swimsuit version (Kotobukiya, sculpt by Tokunaga Hironori) 1/8 Cold Cast Kurusugawa Ayaka (Kotobukiya, sculpt by Tomoki Maeda), 1/8 Cold Cast HMX-13 Serio (Kotobukiya, sculpt by Shirahige Tsukuru) and 1/7 Cold Cast HMX-13 Serio Nude version (Art Road, sculpt by DILL).

Actually, I have a second 1/8 Cold Cast HMX-13 Serio that I bought for only 1000 yen.

Serio trading figure (by CM's Corporation) and gashapons (by Yujin).

The To Heart artbooks that I have: To Heart Visual Fun Book and To Heart TV Animation Vol.1 and 2

To Heart Visual Fun Book is mostly based in the PSE Edition.

Includes a few short manga by Azuma Kiyohiko (Azumanga Daioh!, Yotsubato!...)

Some of the few Serio pictures.

To Heart TV Animation Vol.1 and 2 are based in the anime, including picture synopsis of each episode.

Pictures coming from magazines.

The lovely poster included.

Pins. The 3 below came as bonus in the first print of Kotobukiya models.

A mousepad, the Lycèe card that I received from Archerwannabe and the tags from the 4 plushes.

A shitajiki by Akikan (circle Credit), that was well known years ago by his Go! To! Heart!! works. Was an extra from a Serio dakimakura that I don't have T_T.

Serio shikishi by Kikuta Kouji (circle King Revolver).

That's all. Happy Birthday, Serio!

More doujinshi

Directly from Mandarake, I received a few doujinshi:

The first one is Amakudari, released in 2001 by circle Dedepoppo.
This circle was very focused in To Heart in the late 90's and early 00's and sadly now they almost do Final Fantasy XI only...
This circle is formed by two authors; Neriwasabi and Ebifly, but their styles are pretty similar. They also use the doujin circle name Jack-o'-lantern, but usually both circles act as one.

I really miss the times when they draw the To Heart girls, specially Serio...

Ianryokou Toujitsu No Yoru 2 is a doujinshi by circle Kamidake Onsen, a circle that is now known as Kajishima Onsen and is the personal circle of Kajishima Masaki, the maker of among others Tenchi Muyo! and Dual!
I bought it for a one page collaboration by Takeuchi Takashi:

Arcueid, Akiha and Kohaku dressed as Ryoko, Ayeka and Washu.

And Daisuki desu desu by circle King Revolver.
Features the lovely android Airi from Dream C Club. I said previously that now is the only Xbox game that I really want since IdolM@ster went multiplatform.

Airi is a cute mix between the To Heart maid robots and KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, so was an instant favorite of mine...

Comiket 76 coverage - Day 3

The last Comiket day is mostly focused in ero contents and is the most crowded day. I limited my purchases because I lacked space (I ended with 32 kg in my luggage), money (I only had 30,000 yen, and I didn't wanted to take more money from an ATM only to change it in euro at my arrival) or enough time to redo my luggage (my flight was at 10 AM the day after).

In detail:

Aphrodisiac by tsuina (circle Tear Drop) was my top priority pick and the first place I went. Not only because I love his works, but this was his first all-color doujinshi and was focused on the Kurusugawa sisters and Serio!
In order to keep this blog at a moderately SFW level, I never upload pictures of the contents of the R-18 doujinshi that I buy, but sample pages are available at his website.

T-MOON COMPLEX X5
by Shirotsumekusa (circle CRAZY CLOVER CLUB). I still find this series rather uninspired, I hope once is finished he will return to gag or ero...

Milk Masters 2 by Kakyouin Chiroru from circle Kuro Yuki. I only watched the first two seasons of Futari Wa Pretty Cure, so I barely know the characters of the newer seasons and even I didn't know who was Kurumi in this doujinshi... Milk Masters follows the history of Milk Hunters series by the same circle.

Gang the Bandits by Saint Germain Saru from circle Shin Nihon Pepsitou, a circle focused on gang rape situations with fighting game characters.
Lately he was completely obsessed with Angel from King of Fighters, and since I don't like SNK characters that much I lost track of his newer works. Is nice to see some change, but I prefer when he does Capcom...

Izurumi from circle Nakayohi latest book, Miesugi T-Plugsuit and the omake book. Mostly an Asuka with the new test plugsuit pin-up collection (with 2 Mari pics). The bonus book is just the draft version of it.

Enikki Recycle 12, the usual biannual blog entries compilation of A1 (Initial-G). This time the omake book is about Yayoi and Hibiki from Idolm@ster.

Sichimechou from circle Kurusugawa Pikumin Tei works: the Comic 1 release Akai Akuma Wo Ijittemiyou!, the new release Kanojo-san To Issho (featuring the Houkago Play nameless girl) and the copy book Yume Club (Dream C Club).
Sichimenchou, like Kikuta, is another author that I found because he still draws Serio and Kurusugawa Ayaka, and is the only author that I keep visiting his diary since 2000 (mostly because he doesn't preserve his pictures, that are deleted at random intervals).

Tsukiwani from Circle Nuruma-ya works; his first doujin Yukarin Yume Mousou and the new release Yuyu-sama Yume Mousou.
I already talked about him and his doujinshi. His circle is only active since the past Winter Comiket and he only released 3 doujinshi. His clean art is pretty characteristic, and all his doujinshi until now are focused in the more "onee sama" characters of Touhou universe (Yukari, Kanako and Yuyuko) acting extremely naively towards sex.

A cd with two CG sets: Tokimeke! Lockhart and Minimum Style that was sold at the circle Toushiryoku Laboratory booth, maker of the doujin games Tifatan X and Tifatan X2.
Tokimeke! Lockhart is drawn by Toushiryoku and is Tifa only, while Minimum Style is drawn by Konpet and features the loli characters from Final Fantasy 4, 5, 6 and 9.

Kirihara Kotori (circle Shoujo Hyouhon) works. The new releases Kedamono No Kodomotachi and Pocket Ni Itsumo Uta-hime Wo and the Comitia release Chocolat.
Kirihara Kotori is a close friend of TYPE-MOON staff, specially Takeuchi Takashi, so him, OSKG and even Nasu Kinoko did collaborations in her doujinshi at one point or another.
At first I began to buy her works only for the collaborations. I disliked her shoujo-ish drawings, but after a while I got hooked to her works. She indistinctively made ero and non ero stories, and are fairly interesting.

And of course Kikuta Kouji works from circle King Revolver: Space R, the copy book Neck Hunter and the signed shikishi with Serio that he drew for me. I'm very, very grateful to Kikuta who acceded to draw it even when he was without sleep and alone in the booth. ありがと、 キクタ先生!

Goodbye, Japan

Tomorrow morning I leave Japan.

This past few days were really tiring, waking up everyday at 4 AM to be in time to begin the queue for the Comiket at about 6 AM, and then wait under the sun until 10 AM when they open the doors...

I can't make an extensive post because right now I'm in a bunk, in a shared dormitory in an Asakusa hostal, but here's a quick photo of part of my Comic Market 76 loot (the stuff that I'll bring in the plane as a handbag).

I'm specially happy with the Serio shikishi drawn for me by Kikuta from circle King Revolver!

Once in Spain I'll do a proper coverage.

Piece Of Heart & TYPE-MOON telecards

Sorry for the lack of updates. We are catching up the missing classes and the pace and the amount of homework increased a lot...

The past saturday I received another package again from Comshop.

Piece Of Heart is a To Heart drama cd.
The story is about Serio (voiced by Neya Michiko) trying to help her classmate Tazawa Keiko (voiced by Minami Omi) to confess her love to the guy she likes.

Random page 2

I also bought a couple of telephone cards.
In September, I bought a telephone card holder, and slowly I'm filling it.
Since my camera is rather old and my room is pretty dark, is hard to take pictures of small things such as telecards, so every time I purchased one I omit it in the blog.

Card Holder. I think it was a shop extra when purchasing Fate/stay night [Réalta Nua].

Telephone cards from Fate/stay night

Telephone cards from Fate/hollow ataraxia

Telephone cards from Fate/stay night [Réalta Nua]

Telephone cards from Fate/unlimited codes

Telephone cards from Kara no Kyokai and MELTY BLOOD

I have a couple more of telecards in Spain, the Fate/hollow ataraxia one with Saber and Rin dressed as Arcueid and Ciel, and the All Around TYPE-MOON one from Comiket 72. In the computer I have a pic of the former that I took years ago along with shitajikis, a key holder and phone straps.

I don't really collect TYPE-MOON telephone cards because there are so many of them that is almost impossible. Also, the rare ones can easily surpass the 10,000 yen price and even 50,000 yen, that is way too much for a tiny plastic sheet...
As I said in a previous post, I buy the telephone cards that I find with a price of about 1,000 yen, taking priority the ones with original drawings over in-game character cuts, CGs, game covers... In the end, there are not many telecards that I want and even less that I buy.
