1/7 Saber Lily by Good Smile Company

Finally, I received the long awaited Saber Lily by Good Smile Company. At this time there's plenty of reviews from people that received it weeks ago, but I received it right now...

The sculptor is Kawahara Takayuki, and the pose is loosely based in her Avalon counter-attack move in Fate/unlimited codes:

In the game she "holds" Avalon with the right hand...

The sculpt is great, and perhaps the only "but" is the hair piece, it seems a little cheap in comparision with the overall quality...

Side shot

Sexy back.

She comes with a spare hand to display her without Avalon and also includes Excalibur, that makes more sense since Avalon is the scabbard of Excalibur, but in the game Saber Lily uses Caliburn as her weapon...
The base is pretty nice, too.

My room (II)

A few years ago my room was so full of figures that I decided to move most of my collection to my brother's room (considerably larger than mine), that was empty because he was living with his girlfriend in another town. So I got rid of part of his stuff and made some shelves that I loaded with figures:

The first to series of shelves is for figures, sorted mostly by scale and origin:

(That hook on the ceiling was the place of my brother's punching bag...)

TYPE-MOON related books and magazines, sorted by release date.

My doujinshi collection. Right now I have 179.

Up: PS2 and PSP TYPE-MOON games, TYPE-MOON cd's and Kara No Kyoukai novel limited edition.
Down: PC games and manga. The red case is the limited Evangelion dvd box.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime and Fate/stay night dvd's. The yellow books are the Vampire Wars novels, illustrated by Takeuchi.

Dvds and Japanese manga. The non visible ones are Faust magazines (Decoration Disorder Disconnection, a Nasu series of novels, was first published there).

My room (I)

Again, sorry for the lack of updates. I've been busy, but also I didn't received anything new from Japan to write about. So, as promised, I took a few pictures of my room:

This is what you can see upon entering: a small desk full of manga, plushes and a ton of figures.

The 90% of my stuff is either TYPE-MOON , Evangelion or Capcom games, and to a lesser degree also To Heart and Final Fantasy series. I also keep some posters from Ranma 1/2, that was the first series that I purchased merchandising about it.

The framed thing is actually a 1000-piece puzzle. The Arcueid shikishi at the left of the picture is signed by Ozawa Kaoru the character designer of Shingetsutan Tsukihime, and the director Sakurabi Kazushi.

Frontal view of my desk. It was standard sized until I added all those shelves to put manga on it. Now is rather uncomfortable...

The TV zone. I keep all the gashapons that I have in those mini-shelves.

The shelves that are over my bed. The "empty spaces" are for the upcoming figures, such as Good Smile Company's Saber Lily that is on it's way...

Plushes and posters along the wall...

More plushes.

As can be seen, my room is very cramped (about 1'90 meters wide and 3,60 meters long), so a few years ago I "stole" part of my brother's room, and now most of my figures are there. I'll take pictures of it in another post.
